Lebanese LBL round 3 (Second Stage) best performance: Daniel Ochefu (by Hoops Agents)- April 20, 2023
The 29-year old player had a double-double of 31 points and 11 rebounds, while his team beat Liders (#4, 0-4), Second Stage bottom-ranked team 107-99. The game was between two of the league's top four teams. Al Riyadi maintains the 2nd position in Lebanese LBL. They maintain a perfect record without any lost game in the league. The season is still on an early stage, but Al Riyadi already had a very good start winning all 3 without losing a single one. In the team's last game Ochefu had a remarkable 61.1% from 2-point range. He just recently signed at Al Riyadi, being already a very valuable addition to the team. Daniel Ochefu averages this season 11.7ppg and 8.7rpg. The second best player in last round's games was young American Stanley Davis Jr. (196-G-1998) of Liders. Davis Jr. had a very good evening with a double-double of 27 points and 13 rebounds. Bad luck as Liders lost that game 99-107 to Al Riyadi (3-0). The Second Stage is still at the very beginning and this lost game may not be such crucial, of course if they start win the games. Let's wait for the next round. Davis Jr. is a newcomer at Liders, but is already one of team's top players. He belongs to the best scorers in the league with 20.4ppg (#7). His other stats are also decent: 5.4rpg and 3.9apg. Third on the list of top players last round was international guard Sergio El Darwich (193-G-1996) of league's top team Sagesse. El Darwich got into 30-points club by scoring 31 points in the last round. He went also for eight rebounds . He was a key player of Sagesse, leading his team to a 91-69 easy win against #1 ranked Beirut Club in a game of the week. Sagesse started extremely well this Second Stage. They recorded 4 victories without losing a single game. El Darwich turns to be one of the very best players in the league while he is also a leader of the top team having his eyes on the championship title. El Darwich has a very solid season. In 17 games in Lebanon he scored 16.3ppg. He also has 5.1rpg, 3.6apg and FGP: 59.9%. Other top performing players last week: 4. Roosevelt Scott (193-G) of Hoops - 29 points and 8 rebounds 5. Gerard Hadidian (201-F-1995) of Beirut Club - 18 points, 11 rebounds and 3 assists 6. Jad Khalil (186-PG-1996) of Dynamo - 22 points, 6 rebounds and 7 assists 7. We got involved many basketball scouts and journalists to assure it's accuracy. The formula: 1.5*PTS + 3* (REB+AST+ST+BL-TO) - 2*BSAG - 4*PF + 3*PFRV + 4* (2FGPM+3FGPM) + 1.5*FTM - 3* (2FGPA-2FGPM) - 3* (3FGPA-3FGPM) - (FTA-FTM)
