Al Riyadi lands Ricky Ledo

Sporting-Al-Riyadi-Beirut (LBL) tabbed 30-year old American 201cm small forward Ricky Ledo (college: Providence), agency: Slash Sports. Ledo played this summer at YGC (The Basketball Tournament) in the U.S. He managed to play in three leagues in three countries last year (!!!). In two TBT games just recently he averaged 12.0ppg, 6.5rpg, 3.5apg, 3.0spg and 1.0bpg.
The most of last season he spent at Guandong Tigers in Chinese CBA where in 18 games he had very impressive stats: 16.9ppg, 6.9rpg, 3.8apg and 1.2spg. Ledo helped them to make it to the semifinals. He can count that season as a very successful as was voted to Asia-Basket.com All-Chinese CBA Third Team. Ledo also played for Dreamers in Taiwanese PLeague+. In only one game he recorded also remarkable stats: 20 points, 10 rebounds, 1 assist, 4 steals and 1 block.
In 2013 he was drafted by Milwaukee Bucks (NBA) in second round (43rd overall). He graduated from Providence College and it will be his tenth season in pro basketball.
Ledo is a very experienced player. And here thanks to pro basketball he experienced life in nine different countries playing on four different continents. He is familiar with European, Asian, Latin American and of course North American leagues. Ledo has played previously professionally in Italy (Reggio Emilia), Poland (Anwil), Puerto Rico (Vaqueros, Cariduros and Gigantes), Spain (Baskonia), Turkey (Efes, Yesilgiresun and Fethiye), NBA (Dallas Mavericks and NY Knicks), China (Loongs and Royal Fighters), NBA G League (Texas Legends, Stockton Kings and Wisconsin Herd) and The Basketball Tournament (Team Hines).
Among many awards his college team won Polish Cup in 2020. He was selected to Eurobasket.com Polish League All-Imports Team in 2020.
