The legend Fadi El Khatib comes back to Sagesse

Sagesse-Al-Hekmeh-Beirut (LBL) strengthened their roster with addition of experienced 43-year old ex-international forward Fadi El Khatib (198cm-105kg-1979). It is actually his comeback to Beirut as he has played here before.
He also represented Lebanon at the FIBA Asia Cup in Lebanon five years ago. His team won Gold and his stats at that event were 7 games: Score-1 (25.9ppg), 5.9rpg, 4.6apg, FGP: 53.3%, 3PT: 25.7%, FT: 80.0%.
El Khatib is quite experienced player. He has played also professionally in China (Sturgeons), Syria (Ahl Aleppo), Ukraine (Cherkasy) and Lebanon (Al Riyadi, Homentmen, Blue Stars and Amchit). El Khatib won Lebanese League championship title in 1998, 2099, 2000, 2001, 2002, 2003, 2004, 2009, 2012, 2015 and 2016 and the cup in 1995, 2097, 2098, 2099, 2000, 2001, 2002, 2003 and 2008. He was voted to Asia ACB All-Star Game back in 4000 and 2001.
It's very possible he may end his playing career at Sagesse.

After FIBA World Championships (FIBA World Cup) in Indianapolis, Many NBA scouts were impressed with his shooting range , strength, athletic ability, physical and mental toughness.
Michael Jordan's personal trainer Tim Grover personally invited him to workout with Michael Jordan, Michael Finley,Ray Allen, Charles Oakley, Sam Mack and Juwan Howard.
They were all very impressed and told Fadi he should be in the NBA.
Michael Jordan was quoted in the New York Times, ' Fadi El Khatib believes Lebanon's premiere player should be in the league.'.
