Sporting Al Riyadi Beirut (LBL) inked experienced 34-year old former international 188cm point guard Miguel Martinez for upcoming season. It is actually his comeback to Beirut as he has played here before. Martinez played most recently at Champville (LBL). In 16 games he averaged 11.0ppg, 3.8rpg, 3.9apg and 1.4spg last season. The last season he played at JAC Sants in Spanish EBA where in four games he had 3.3ppg and 1.5rpg in 2020-2021 season.
He was a member of Lebanese international program for some years. Martinez was called to Lebanese Senior National Team two years ago and previously for U19 National Team in 2007.
He has spent his entire career in Spain playing for four other teams: Beirut Club, Sagesse, Blue Stars and Louaize.
