Beirut Club have been crowned LBL champions for the first time in team's history. They overcame Al Riyadi in the decisive seventh game of the championship series to lift the trophy. The hosts trailed by 1 point after first quarter, but they stormed back to get the 10-point lead at the halftime and eventually won the game 79-62. Beirut Club outrebounded Al Riyadi 39-28 including 28 on the defensive glass. Great defensive blocking was one of the keys in this match when Beirut Club made 7 blocks. The former international forward Gerard Hadidian (201-1995, college: Lake Land) fired a double-double by scoring 28 points and 13 rebounds for the winners. The former international Elie Chamoun (193-1994) chipped in 20 points and 6 rebounds. Four Beirut Club players scored in double figures. Bosnian center Elmedin Kikanovic (211-1988, agency: BeoBasket) produced 27 points and 5 rebounds and the former international guard Amir Saoud (186-1991) added 17 points, 5 rebounds and 4 assists respectively for lost side.
