Dynamo lands Scotty Hopson

Newly promoted Dynamo Lebanon (LBL) landed 32-year old American ex-international 200cm swingman Scotty Hopson (college: Tennessee). Hopson started the season at OKC Blue (NBA G League) in the U.S. In 43 games he averaged 11.7ppg, 4.2rpg and 2.7apg. He was a member of USA Senior National Team two years ago.
Hopson is a very experienced player. And here thanks to pro basketball he experienced life in ten different countries playing on four different continents. He is familiar with European, Asian, Australian and of course North American leagues. Hopson has played previously professionally in Australia (United and New Zealand Breakers), China (Long Lions), Croatia (Cedevita), Greece (Kolossos H Hotels), Israel (Hapoel Holon, Ironi Nahariya and Hapoel Eilat), Spain (Baskonia), Turkey (Efes and Galatasaray), NBA (Dallas Mavericks, OKC Thunder and Sacramento Kings), NBA G League (Sioux Falls Skyforce and Canton Charge) and The Basketball Tournament (Loyalty is Love).
He graduated from University of Tennessee in 2011 and it is his eleventh (!!!) season in pro basketball.
Let's have closer look into His outlook: a long athletic and explosive swingman who is a natural scorer able to easily attack the basket and finish. Efficient offensive player who shoots a high FG percentage and is developing into an excellent 3 point shooter. Rebounds very well for his position and is a willing and capable passer.
