Hicham El Helou put on an amazing game in the last round for league's second-best Atlas F. and that's him to receive a Hoops Agents Player of the Week award for round 27.
The had a double-double of 18 points and ten rebounds, while his team outclassed Byblos (#7, 7-11) with 32-point margin 83-51. Atlas is placed at 2nd position in Lebanese LBL. They would have been even better if they hadn't lost a few games earlier this season. Atlas will need more victories to improve their 12-6 record. El Helou has many years of experience at Atlas, through which he has constantly improved.
The second most remarkable performance in last round's games was French guard Gabriel Salibi (203-G, agency: BIG) of Hoops. Salibi impressed basketball fans with 25 points, 5 rebounds and 6 assists. Of course he led Hoops to another comfortable win outscoring slightly lower-ranked Moutahed (#8, 5-13) 91-70. Hoops' 6th position in the standings has not changed. His team lost some distance to top teams. But 10-8 record is not bad and everything may still change. Salibi is one of the most experienced players at Hoops and has a reputation of one of team's most reliable players.
The third best performed player last round was Ibrahim Haddad (98) of Moutahed (#8). Haddad scored 25 points and grabbed eight rebounds. Despite Haddad's great performance Moutahed lost 70-91 to slightly higher-ranked Hoops (#6, 10-8). But his team cannot count on just a single player as he also needs help of the other teammates. Moutahed can only dream about fighting for top spots in the league. They have rather bad season and 5-13 record places them close to the bottom of the standings. Haddad has individually a great season in Lebanon. After only 4 games, he made it on the list of the league's leaders in points with 1.3ppg (2nd best).

The Player of the week is selected based on efficiency calculation, but also including game result, importance of the game, if played recorded double-double/triple-double, etc.
The efficiency formula is a combination of various formulas used by different basketball organizations/leagues. We got involved many basketball scouts and journalists to assure it's accuracy.
The formula: 1.5*PTS + 3* (REB+AST+ST+BL-TO) - 2*BSAG - 4*PF + 3*PFRV + 4* (2FGPM+3FGPM) + 1.5*FTM - 3* (2FGPA-2FGPM) - 3* (3FGPA-3FGPM) - (FTA-FTM)
