The Regular Season in LBL is slowly approaching the end. But there may be still some important changes in the final standings in the last 4 rounds. Here is the last round review presented by ESL.

The most important game in the last round took place in Beirut between second ranked Atlas (9-5) and fifth ranked Beirut Club (9-6) on Wednesday night. Atlas were crushed by Beirut Club on the road 95-56. It ended at the same time the two-game winning streak of Atlas. Beirut Club dominated down low during the game scoring 60 of its points in the paint compared to Atlas' 22. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 27 assists comparing to just 9 passes made by Atlas' players. International guard Georges El Beyrouty (193-99) fired a double-double by scoring 24 points, 12 rebounds and 4 assists for the winners. The former international Elie Chamoun (193-94, agency: BIG) chipped in 22 points and 5 assists. Beirut Club's coach Patrick Saba felt very confident that he used entire bench which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. point guard Joseph Zaloum (180-90) produced 18 points, 5 rebounds and 5 assists for lost side. Beirut Club maintains fifth position with 9-6 record. Atlas at the other side dropped to the fourth place with five games lost. Beirut Club will have a break next round, and it should allow them to practice more before next game. Atlas' supporters look forward to an exciting derby game next round, where their team will face at home their local rival from Zahle Anibal.
Bottom-ranked Anibal (0-15) tried to put together a comeback for its first victory of the season, but they fell short in the 122-71 loss to fourth ranked Sagesse (10-5) in Zahle. But it was rather predictable considering how strong their opponent was. Worth to mention a great performance of the former international swingman Nadim Souaid (192-86, agency: BIG) who helped to win the game recording 32 points, 7 rebounds and 6 assists. Ali Mezher contributed with 14 points, 22 assists and 9 steals for the winners. Coach 's team controlled all game and the coach could let to play 11 players and allowed the starting five to rest. Another interesting game was a derby match between two local teams from Beirut: Hoops (#6) and Homentmen (#9).
