Al Ahly Jeddah Club has agreed terms with the 53 years old Lebanese Experienced coach Fuad Abou Chakra to be the head coach of the team for season 2020-2021, It's the first time for Abu Chakra to coach out of Lebanon one of the best coaches in the Lebanese Basketball history.
During his career in Lebanon, He took turns to led several of the best clubs in Lebanon.
One of his most successful coaching periods, the period that he coached Al Riyadi Beirut between 2004 and 2012. Fuad has won the Lebanese league title 6 times in that period, Arab Club Championships 5 times and Asian Club Championships one time in 2011. Then he left Al Riyadi in 2012 to move to Sagesse Club and coached the team for 6 seasons and the last 2 seasons he coached Champville Club.
The other Lebanese coach Krikor Krikorian will join the coaching staff in Al Ahly to be Coach Fuad's assistant, They have worked together since season 2012-2013 in Sagesse and Champville.
