Chris Crawford joins Homentmen

CHRIS CRAWFORD

Homentmen Beirut (LBL) agreed terms with 26-year old American guard Chris Crawford (193-100kg-92, college: Memphis). He played last season at Beirut Club. In 30 LBL games in Lebanon he had very impressive stats: 16.5ppg, 5.7rpg, 5.4apg and 1.7spg. Crawford helped them to make it to the final after they ended regular season as second best team. Quite impressive season as he was named to Asia-Basket.com All-Lebanese League 2nd Team.
The previous (2018) summer he played at Memphis State in U.S. semi-pro league The Basketball Tournament. Crawford also played for Grizzlies in U.S. semi-pro league The Basketball Tournament.
He has tried to make it to the NBA and played in the NBA Pro Summer League in 2014.
The list of the past achievements is quite long as among others Crawford's college team won C-USA Tournament for three years in a row (between 2011 and 2013). He was also voted All-C-USA Sixth Man of the Year back in 2013.
Crawford is quite experienced player. His career allowed him to visit three different continents, while he played in five different countries. Crawford tasted the life as pro basketball player in Asia, Latin America and of course North America. He has played previously professionally also in France, Mexico (Caballeros de Culiacan), NBA (Memphis Grizzlies) and NBA G League (Canton Charge).
Crawford attended University of Memphis until 2014 and it will be his sixth season as a professional player.
