Hoops land Makayla Epps !!

Makayla Epps

Hoops Club (WLBL) tabbed 23-year old American guard Makayla Epps (178-95, college: Kentucky). She played in the summer at Chicago Sky (WNBA). But in 16 games she averaged just 0.7ppg.
Her team made it to the SEC Tournament Semifinals for three years in a row (between 2015 and 2017). Epps received All-SEC 1st Team award in 2015, 2016 and 2017 at her college time.
Makayla averaged 17.6ppg, 4.4rpg, 3.6apg, 1.0spg, FGP: 48.4%, 3PT: 34.7%, FT: 76.8% in her senior year season 2016-2017 with Kentucky,The previous (15-16) season she had very impressive stats: 17.1ppg, 4.8rpg, 4.5apg and 1.3spg in 32 games. Epps helped them to make it to the NCAA Sweet 16. She can count that season as a very successful as was selected to AP NCAA All-America Honorable Mention, WBCA NCAA D1 All-America Honorable Mention and SEC All-Tournament Team.
Last year she was drafted by Chicago Sky (WNBA) in third round (33rd overall).
Epps attended University of Kentucky until 2017 and it is her first season in pro basketball.
