Christina Dewitt agreed terms with Al Riyadi

Sporting Al Riyadi Beirut (Division I) inked 30-year old American ex-international power forward Christina Dewitt (188-87, college: N.Carolina) from Chabibeh. She helped them to make it to the semifinals.
The previous (15-16) season Dewitt played at another team Lady Generals in U.S. semi-pro league UBA where in 10 games she was second best scorer with impressive 20.5ppg and had 11.8rpg (leader !!!), 2.1apg, 1.4spg and 3.4bpg. A very good season in her career as she was awarded USBasket.com All-WUBA Co-Southern Conference Player of the Year, USBasket.com All-WUBA Center of the Year and USBasket.com All-WUBA Co-Player of the Year.
Among other achievements Dewitt received USBasket.com All-WUBA International Player of the Year award in 2013, 2014 and 2015. She was a member of USA Senior National Team between 2013 and 2014.
Dewitt is a very experienced player. She has played also professionally in Portugal (Lousada), Romania (Olimpia Brasov), Spain (Araski), Switzerland (Pully) and WBCBL (RDU Sting).
Dewitt attended University of North Carolina until 2009 and it will be her ninth season in pro basketball.
