There were no big surprises in other games of round 12: Shymkent beat Karaganda on the road 97-90. Winless Pavlodar lost to undefeated Turan on its own court 60-126. Winless Pavlodar was outscored by Shymkent in a road game 52-109.



Karaganda - Shymkent 90-97

No shocking result in a game when fourth ranked Shymkent (10-2) beat on the road 11th ranked Karaganda (2-5) 97-90 on Thursday. Shymkent dominated down low during the game scoring 70 of its points in the paint compared to Karaganda's 48. Shymkent had a 20-5 advantage in offensive rebounds. The winners were led by Anuar Shakirov who scored that evening 25 points, 9 rebounds, 5 assists and 5 steals and Aleksei Vereshagin supported him with 23 points and 12 rebounds.
