BC Astana conquer fourth straight D1 trophy - Apr 10, 2015

BC Astana celebrated the D1 title. They beat Almatynski Legion 81:56 in the Final tonight. The victory marked the fourth consecutive trophy for BC Astana. Ramunas Butautas team jumped to a 26:21 lead after the opening quarter. They followed with a 22:9 rally in the second frame to gain a 48:30 halftime cushion. BC Astana did not slow down in the third term. They erupted for 25 points to boost the margin at 30-point mark. Almatynski Legion narrowed the distance in the fourth frame however BC Astana eased to the victory.
Kaspiy earned the Bronze medals. They prevailed against Kapshagay 76:65 in the consolation final.

Almatynski Legion claim Kazakh Cup title - Feb 23, 2015

Almatynski Legion - Tobol 90:86

Almatynski Legion celebrated the Kazakh Cup title. They overcame Tobol Kostanay in the Final. Yuriy Kozhanov (190-G-90) came up with 26 points and 7 assists to pace the winners.
Tobol jumped to an early lead. They grabbed a 26:18 advantage after ten minutes. Tobol maintained the lead throughout the second quarter. The Kostanay team secured a 51:42 halftime advantage. The teams traded baskets throughout the third quarter. Tobol entered the final period up by 9 points. However Almatynskiy Legion responded with a furious 31:18 rally in the final period and iced the victory. Maxim Voyeykov (196-SG-88) connected for 25 points, while Vsevolod Fadeikin (206-C-85) added 18 points and 14 rebounds in the victory. Karimulin responded with 19 points and 8 rebounds for Tobol. N. Bazin had 19 points in the loss.
