Experienced American Josh Scott (210-C/F-1993, agency: Pensack Sports) had a very impressive game in the last round for Okayama Try Hoop and that's him to receive a Hoops Agents B3 League Player of the Week award for round 55.
The 32-year old had a double-double of 14 points and 14 rebounds, while his team beat Tokushima Gam. (#2, 39-13) 82-71. The game was between two of the league's top four teams. Try Hoop maintains the 4th position in Japanese B3 League. They would have been even better if they hadn't lost a few games earlier this season. Okayama will need more victories to improve their 34-18 record. It was one of impressive evenings for Scott as usually he does not deliver so high stats. University of Colorado graduate has very impressive stats this year. Scott is in league's top in rebounds (4th best: 11.8rpg) and averages solid 64.0% FGP.

The second most remarkable performance in last round's games was young American forward Kennedy Meeks (208-F-1995) of Saitama Broncos. Meeks impressed basketball fans with 24 points and 8 rebounds. Of course he led Broncos to another comfortable win 104-86 over slightly lower-ranked Niigata A. (#5, 32-20) being unquestionably team leader. Saitama's 3rd position in the standings has not changed. His team's 39-13 record is not bad at all. Meeks is a newcomer at Saitama and it seems he did not have too much trouble to become one of team's leaders. He belongs to the best scorers in the league with 17.8ppg (#7). He also registered 9.5 boards per game.

The third best performed player last round was American Eugene Phelps (198-F-1990) of Niigata Albirex (#5). Phelps scored 25 points and grabbed 7 rebounds. Despite Phelps' great performance the Albirex lost 86-104 to slightly higher-ranked Saitama (#3, 39-13). But his team cannot count on just a single player as he also needs help of the other teammates. The last thing Niigata A. needs is to lose another game like this one. They lose more and more distance to the top teams. Their record is 32 victories and 20 lost games. Phelps has a very solid season. In 49 games in Japan he scored 14.1ppg. He also has 8.5rpg and a FGP of 56.7%.

The formula: 1.5*PTS + 3*(REB+AST+ST+BL-TO) - 2*BSAG - 4*PF + 3*PFRV + 4*(2FGPM+3FGPM) + 1.5*FTM - 3*(2FGPA-2FGPM) - 3*(3FGPA-3FGPM) - (FTA-FTM)
