36-year old American center Mitchell Watt (208-C-1989, agency: Octagon Europe) put on an extraordinary performance in the last round for second-ranked Ehime Orange Vikings and receives a Hoops Agents B2 League Player of the Week award for round 48.
He had a double-double of 29 points and 12 rebounds, while his team beat Fukuoka R. (#5, 20-27) 93-81. Orange Vikings maintains the 2nd position in their group in the Japanese B2 League. They would have been even better if they hadn't lost a few games earlier this season. Ehime will need more victories to improve their 33-16 record. In the team's last game Watt had a remarkable 75.0% from 2-point range. He turned to be Orange Vikings's top player in his first season with the team. Mitchell Watt averages this season 15.8ppg, 7.6rpg and 4.0apg.

Second best performed player last round was Ryan Kelly (211-PF-1991, agency: Slash Sports) of Fukui Blowinds. He is American forward in his second season at Fukui B.. In the last game Kelly recorded an impressive double-double of 28 points and 14 rebounds. It was enough for Blowinds to edge slightly higher-ranked Yokohama EX (#3, 29-17) by 1 point 98-97. It was definitely game of the week between two contenders to the top position in East. Fukui B. consolidated its place in top 4 of the standings. His team's 29-20 record is not bad at all. Kelly is well-known at Fukui B. and he already established his position as one of the team's leaders.

Third place about best performers goes to forward Yoeli Childs (203-PF-1998) of league's leader Kobe Storks.
