27-year old American forward Trent Buttrick (206-F-1998) had a great game in the last round for second-ranked Saitama Broncos and receives a Hoops Agents B3 League Player of the Week award for round 44.
He had the game-high 23 points adding seven rebounds for Saitama in his team's victory, helping them to outclass Shanan Utd (#11, 16-26) with 27-point margin 101-74. Broncos was forced-out from the top positions in Japanese B3 League. They would have been even better if they hadn't lost a few games earlier this season. Saitama will need more victories to improve their 35-9 record. Buttrick turned to be Broncos's top player in his first season with the team. Trent Buttrick averages this season 13.1ppg and 7.7rpg.

Second best performed player last round was Jacob Polakovich (208-C-2000) of Shanan United. He is American center in his first season at Shanan Utd. In the last game Polakovich recorded an impressive double-double of 21 points and 13 rebounds. Bad luck as United lost that game 60-94 to the higher-ranked Saitama (#2, 35-9). Shanan Utd is still in a red zone at 11th spot in the standings. His team is not often considered as one of the league's best with a mere 16-26 record. Polakovich is a newcomer at Shanan Utd and quickly became one of team's most reliable players. He belongs to the best scorers in the league with 18.3ppg (#6). He also registered 12.3 boards per game.

Third place about best performers goes to guard Shuto Kishinaga (181-PG-2000) of Yamaguch Pats Five (#13). Kishinaga showcased his all-around game by recording 20 points, 8 rebounds and 7 assists in the last round. He was a key player of Pats Five, leading his team to a 99-96 win against the higher-ranked Tachikawa (#7, 23-19). Yamaguchi can only dream about fighting for top spots in the league. They have rather bad season and 12-34 record places them close to the bottom of the standings. Kishinaga has individually a great season in Japan. After 46 games, he made it on the list of the league's leaders in assists with 4.6apg (3rd best).
