An exciting game between Top Four teams was played in Tokushima. First ranked Gambarous faced 3rd ranked Albirex. Host Gambarous (19-4) defeated guests from Niigata (16-9) 87-82. Bottom-ranked Veertien Mie managed to get the second consecutive victory. This time they won against fifth-ranked Try Hoop in Okayama 83-79. It ended at the same time the two-game winning streak of Try Hoop. It was a good game for Spanish center David Doblas (208-1981) who led his team to a victory with 22 points, 8 rebounds and 4 assists (on 9-of-11 shooting from the field). The game was dominated by American players. Worth to mention a great performance of forward Taren Sullivan (198-1995, college: Findlay, OH) who helped to win the game recording 30 points and 9 rebounds and swingman Donovan Clay (203-2001, college: Missouri St.) who added 18 points and 6 rebounds during the contest.
