No shocking result in a game in Tokyo where fourth rankedHachioji Trains (16-6) smashed 7th ranked Dice (12-10) 99-72 on Friday. Tokyo outrebounded Tachikawa 47-27 including 32 on the defensive glass. Great defensive blocking was one of the keys in this match when Tokyo made 7 blocks. Worth to mention a great performance of Steve Kubema who helped to win the game recording a double-double by scoring 16 points and 15 rebounds and American swingman Donovan Clay (203-2001, college: Missouri St.) who added 18 points and 5 rebounds (on 7-of-9 shooting from the field) during the contest. Four Hachioji Trains players scored in double figures. The best for the losing side was American power forward Andrew Fitzgerald (202-1990, college: Oklahoma, agency: Octagon Europe) with a double-double by scoring 13 points and 11 rebounds and his fellow American import swingman LJ Peak (196-1996, college: Georgetown) scored 21 points. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games. Hachioji Trains have a solid three-game winning streak. Tokyo moved-up to third place. Tachikawa lost fourth consecutive game. They keep the seventh position with ten games lost.
