American Forward Jaemyn Brakefield (203-F-2000) had a great game in the last round for Bambitious Nara, receiving a Hoops Agents B2 League Player of the Week award for round 14.
The 25-year old player was the main contributor (36 points, nine rebounds and four assists) to his team's victory, helping them to crush Kagoshima (#4, 6-7) with 18-point margin 91-73. Nara maintains the 5th position in their group in the Japanese B2 League. Bambitious is a typical solid league team placed somewhere in the middle or a little bit lower in the standings. They need more victories to improve their 6-8 record. In the team's last game Brakefield had a remarkable 66.7% from 2-point range and got three three-pointers out of 6 attempts. He turned to be Nara's top player in his first season with the team. Former The University of Mississippi star has very solid stats this year. Brakefield is league's best scorer averaging so far 25.0ppg. Brakefield is in league's top in and averages impressive 2.4spg and 59.4% FGP.

The second best player in last round's games was young American Elyjah Williams (201-F-1998) of Yokohama Excellence. Williams had a very good evening with a double-double of 24 points and 10 rebounds. Of course he led Excellence to another comfortable win outscoring the lower-ranked Aomori W. (#7, 2-12) 92-70. Yokohama's 4th position in East has not changed. His team is not often considered as one of the league's best with a mere 6-7 record. Williams is well-known at Yokohama and is a proven leader in his second season with the team.

Third on the list of top players last round was American forward Shaquille Hines (201-PF-1993) of league's second-best Ehime Orange Vikings. Hines showcased his all-around game by recording 28 points, 6 rebounds and 8 assists in the last round. He was a key player of Orange Vikings, leading his team to a 99-76 easy win against the lower-ranked Shizuoka (#7, 3-11). Ehime is closer and closer to top of the standings in West. They will still need more victories. But 12-2 record is not that bad... Hines has a great season in Japan. After 14 games, he made it on the list of the league's leaders in points with 18.6ppg (5th best) and assists with 4.7apg (7th best).
