B Corsairs keep Inglis for another season

Damien Inglis

Yokohama B-Corsairs (B1 League) have re-signed 30-year-old French international 206cm power forward Damien Inglis, who is represented by Octagon Europe, for the upcoming season. Inglis was a team leader there last season, putting up impressive stats of 15.7ppg, 8.4rpg, 3.9apg, and 1.3spg in 56 B1 League games. He was also named League Player of the Week twice. In the previous 2023-24 season, he played for Valencia (Liga Endesa) in the Spanish league, averaging 7.4ppg, 5.1rpg, and 2.1apg in 36 games and helping them reach the semifinals.
In 2014, he was drafted by the Milwaukee Bucks (NBA) in the second round (31st overall).
Inglis has been a member of the French international program for several years. He has played for the French senior team since 2022 and previously for the Under 18 National Team in 2013.
Inglis also represented France at the FIBA World Cup 2023 European Qualifiers two years ago. During this event he scored an average of 7.8 ppg and had 6.3 rpg.
He is a very experienced player. Inglis has played also in Italy (Orlandina), Spain (Gran Canaria and Surne Bilbao), France (Limoges CSP Elite, Monaco, Chorale de Roanne, SIG Strasbourg and Pole France), NBA (NY Knicks) and NBA G League (Cleveland Charge and Westchester Knicks).
Inglis' team won the French Cup in 2018. He was selected to the Eurobasket.com All-Spanish Liga Endesa Honorable Mention in 2022.
