Denso I. - Fujitsu RW 76-53

The game was mostly controlled by Denso I.. Fujitsu RW managed to win third quarter 17-12. But it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. Denso I. dominated on the defensive end, holding Fujitsu RW to just 7 points in fourth quarter. They dominated down low during the game scoring 44 of its points in the paint compared to Fujitsu RW's 22. It was a great evening for the former international center Maki Takada (185-1989) who led her team to a victory scoring 24 points and 6 rebounds (on 10-of-13 shooting from the field). The former international power forward Evelyn Mawuli (180-1995) helped adding 11 points, 11 rebounds, 4 assists and 4 steals. The best for the losing side was the former international point guard Rui Machida (162-1993) with 12 points, 6 rebounds and 7 assists and the former international forward Yuki Miyazawa (183-1993, college: Queens, NY) scored 12 points and 6 rebounds. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games.
