Experienced Italian-American Angelo Caloiaro (203-F-1989, agency: Pensack Sports) had an amazing evening in the last round for Kyoto Hannaryz and that's him to receive a Hoops Agents Player of the Week award for round 46.
The 35-year old forward had a double-double of 21 points and 12 rebounds, while his team edged out San-en NP (#1, 39-7) 97-94. Kyoto H. maintains the 3rd position in their group in the Japanese B1 League. Kyoto H. is a typical solid league team placed somewhere in the middle or a little bit lower in the standings. They need more victories to improve their 25-22 record. Caloiaro turned to be Kyoto H.'s top player in his first season with the team. Angelo Caloiaro averages this season 17.4ppg, 7.9rpg and 4.1apg.

The second most remarkable performance in last round's games was young Australian forward Brock Motum (208-F-1990, agency: Slash Sports) of Shiga Lakestars. Motum impressed basketball fans with 29 points, 6 rebounds and 4 assists. Of course he led Lakestars to another comfortable win 93-80 over the higher-ranked Nagoya DD (#4, 25-21) being unquestionably team leader. Shiga L-Stars' 8th position in West has not changed. 39 lost games are too many comparing to just six victories Lakestars managed to get this year. Motum is well-known by Shiga L-Stars fans and he already established his position as one of team's most reliable players. He belongs to the best scorers in the league with 21.2ppg (#1). He also registered 8.2 boards per game.

The third best performed player last round was Hungarian Rosco Allen (208-PF-1993, agency: Pensack Sports) of Kawasaki Brave Thunders (#8). Allen showcased his all-around game by recording 24 points, 7 rebounds and 4 assists in the last round. Despite Allen's great performance the Brave Thunders lost 84-90 to the higher-ranked Chiba Jets (#2, 32-15). But his team cannot count on just a single player as he also needs help of the other teammates. Kawasaki can only dream about fighting for top spots in Central. They have rather bad season and 14-33 record places them close to the bottom of the standings. Allen has individually a great season in Japan. After 45 games, he made it on the list of the league's leaders in points with 17.4ppg (8th best).
