American Center Charles Jackson (208-C-1993) had a very impressive game in the last round for Kyoto Hannaryz, receiving a Hoops Agents Player of the Week award for round 45.
The 31-year old player had a double-double of 18 points and 10 rebounds, while his team crushed Shiga L-Stars (#8, 5-39) with 20-point margin 95-75. Kyoto H. maintains the 4th position in their group in the Japanese B1 League. Kyoto H. is a typical solid league team placed somewhere in the middle or a little bit lower in the standings. They need more victories to improve their 23-22 record. It's Jackson's second year at Kyoto H. and it's hard to imagine this team without him. Former Tennessee Tech University star has very solid stats this year. Jackson is in league's top in rebounds (9th best: 9.2rpg) and averages impressive 1.3bpg and 69.2% FGP.

The second best player in last round's games was young German Johannes Thiemann (206-PF-1994) of league's second-best Gunma Crane Thunders. Thiemann had a very good evening with 25 points, 9 rebounds and 3 assists. Bad luck as Thunders was edged by the lower-ranked Hokkaido L. (#5, 17-28) 96-92. Gunma CT managed to keep the same second spot in East. His team's 31-14 record is not bad at all. Thiemann is a newcomer at Gunma CT, but is already one of team's top players.

Third on the list of top players last round was American forward Yoeli Childs (203-PF-1998) of Saga Ballooners (#7). Childs showcased his all-around game by recording 20 points, 15 rebounds (!!!) and 5 assists in the last round. He was a key player of Ballooners, leading his team to a 87-73 easy win against the higher-ranked Shimane SM (#2, 28-17). The chances of Saga B. not to end season at such low position in West, however are less than slim as they have already lost 31 games, recording just fourteen victories. With bigger assistance of his teammates, Childs could try to bring Saga B.'s a little bit higher in the standings. Childs has individually a great season in Japan. After 43 games, he made it on the list of the league's leaders in rebounds with 9.8rpg (7th best).

The formula: 1.5*PTS + 3*(REB+AST+ST+BL-TO) - 2*BSAG - 4*PF + 3*PFRV + 4*(2FGPM+3FGPM) + 1.5*FTM - 3*(2FGPA-2FGPM) - 3*(3FGPA-3FGPM) - (FTA-FTM)
