American Guard Chaundee Brown Jr. (195-G-1998) put on an amazing game in the last round for Kobe Storks, receiving a Hoops Agents B2 League Player of the Week award for round 12.
The 26-year old player was the main contributor (31 points, six rebounds and four assists) to his team's victory, helping them to crush Kumamoto V. (#7, 1-12) with 16-point margin 94-78. Storks maintains the 3rd position in their group in the Japanese B2 League. Kobe S. is a typical solid league team placed somewhere in the middle or a little bit lower in the standings. They need more victories to improve their 7-6 record. In the team's last game Brown Jr. had a remarkable 66.7% from 2-point range. He turned to be Storks's top player in his first season with the team. Former University of Michigan star has very solid stats this year. Brown Jr. is in league's top in points (2nd best: 21.5ppg) and averages impressive 56.2% FGP and 44.8% from behind 3-point line.

The second best player in last round's games was young American Stephen Zimmerman (211-C-1996, agency: Slash Sports) of Bambitious Nara. Zimmerman had a very good evening with a double-double of 12 points and 18 rebounds. Of course Bambitious cruised to a 78-69 relatively comfortable win over slightly lower-ranked Fukushima (#7, 4-9). Bambitious's 5th position in East has not changed. His team is not often considered as one of the league's best with a mere 6-7 record. Zimmerman is a newcomer at Bambitious, but is already one of team's top players.

Third on the list of top players last round was American forward John Harrar (205-F-1999) of league's top team Shizuoka Veltex. Harrar scored 17 points and grabbed 18 rebounds (!!!). He was a key player of Shizuoka, leading his team to a 79-69 win against the lower-ranked Aomori W. (#5, 6-7). Shizuoka confirms their top position in West. Their record at this point is 8 victories and 5 lost games. Harrar has a great season in Japan. After 13 games, he made it on the list of the league's leaders in rebounds with 10.8rpg (6th best).
