B2 League Regular Season is still in too early stage and there may be still significant changes in the standings. Here is the last round review presented by Job Market.

The most interesting game of round 3 was a home defeat of Aomori W. (2-2) by Toyama G. (3-1) who outscored them by 22 points 97-75. Grouses dominated down low during the game scoring 62 of its points in the paint compared to Watts' 34 and made 20-of-25 free shots (80.0 percent) during the game. Grouses forced 19 Watts turnovers and outrebounded them 44-28 including a 19-8 advantage in offensive rebounds. Americans were the main players on the court. It was a great evening for forward Aaron White (206-1992, college: Iowa, agency: Slash Sports) who led his team to a victory with a double-double by scoring 21 points and 11 rebounds. Center Mitchell Watt (208-1989, college: Buffalo, agency: Octagon Europe) helped adding 20 points and 11 rebounds. The best for the losing side was Rashard Kelly (203-1995, college: Wichita St.) with 13 points, 9 rebounds and 5 assists. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games. Toyama G. is looking forward to face Yamagata (#7) on the road in the next round which should be theoretically another easy game. Aomori W. will play against Shinshu (#6) in Nagano and is hoping to prove to their supporters that this time they can win.
Very significant was Shinshu's (#6) 98-92 road victory against Ehime. Americans were the main players on the court also this time. It was an exceptional evening for guard Terrance Woodbury (203-1987, college: Georgia) who led the winners and scored 33 points (!!!) and 6 rebounds. Perrin Buford accounted for 24 points, 13 rebounds and 4 assists. Guard Jonathan Stark (184-1995, college: Murray St., agency: Pensack Sports) came up with 29 points, 7 rebounds, 5 assists and 4 steals for Orange Vikings in the defeat. Both coaches used bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Shinshu will play against Aomori W. (#4) at home in the next round. Ehime will play against Bambitious and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
Quite upsetting was Ehime's (#5) 34-point home defeat in a game versus Shinshu who smashed hosts The best player for the winners was Perrin Buford who scored 19 points and 5 assists. At the other side the best for losing team was Kenny Lawson who recorded 19 points and 6 rebounds. Since the result was very predictable, it gave the chance for the coaches to test many bench players and allowed the starting five to rest. Shinshu will meet at home Aomori W. (#4) in the next round. Ehime will play against Bambitious and it may be a tough game between close rivals.

There were no shocking results in the rest of the games of round 3: winless Bambitious lost to Kobe S. on the opponent's court 77-90. Kobe S. managed to outperform Bambitious in a home game 88-81. Shizuoka lost to undefeated Chiba on the road 74-91. Fukuoka R. crushed Kumamoto V. on its own court 90-65. Yamagata was beaten by Fukushima in a road game 87-86. Kagoshima won against Fukui B. at home 85-79. Fukui B. lost to undefeated Kagoshima on the opponent's court 92-100. Fukushima recorded a loss to Yamagata in a home game 70-86. Shizuoka lost to undefeated Chiba on the road 55-73. Aomori W. was smashed by Toyama G. on its own court 56-95. Winless Kumamoto V. was destroyed by Fukuoka R. in a road game 88-60.

Kobe S. - Bambitious N. 90-77

The game between closely ranked teams ended with Bambitious' (0-4) road loss to Storks (3-1) 77-90 on Friday. Kobe S. looked well-organized offensively handing out 25 assists. The best player for the winners was Nigerian-American power forward Morris Udeze (206-1999, college: N.Mexico, agency: Pensack Sports) who scored 27 points and 9 rebounds. American guard Chaundee Brown Jr (195-1998, college: Michigan) chipped in 20 points. At the other side the best for losing team was American center Stephen Zimmerman (211-1996, college: UNLV, agency: Slash Sports) who recorded a double-double by scoring 19 points, 16 rebounds and 4 assists and the other American import power forward Cameron Jackson (203-1996, college: Wofford) added 19 points and 6 rebounds respectively. Both coaches tested many bench players and allowed the starting five to rest. Storks will meet Kumamoto V. (#7) on the road in the next round which should be theoretically an easy game. Bambitious will play against Ehime in Matsuyama and hope to get finally their first victory.

They looked well-organized offensively handing out 22 assists. Great defensive blocking was one of the keys in this match when Chiba made 7 blocks. The best player for the winners was guard Kei Sugimoto (184-1992) who scored 15 points and 9 assists. American center Dererk Pardon (203-1996, college: Northwestern) chipped in 15 points and 7 rebounds. Five Chiba players scored in double figures. Firebonds used a home court advantage and edged the opponent from Yamagata 87-86 on Saturday night. However just one-point win is not that big difference and the fans of host team counted on more convincing victory.
