Stanton Kidd signs at Sendai 89ers

Sendai 89ers (B1 League) signed Stanton Kidd, a 32-year-old American small forward from Colorado State, for the upcoming season. He was the top scorer for Shinshu Brave Warriors Nagano, averaging 20.4ppg, 6.1rpg, 3.4apg, and 1.1spg in 10 B1 League games last season. Kidd previously played for Happinets during the 2022-23 season.
He is a very experienced player. Kidd has quite traveled the world as his pro career brought him to eight different countries on four different continents (Europe, Asia, Australia and of course North America). He has played previously professionally in Australia (United), Belgium (Limburg United), Germany (Tigers), Israel (Hapoel Jerusalem), Russia (Lokomotiv), Turkey (Darussafaka Lassa and Ormanspor), NBA (Utah Jazz) and NBA Summer League (Utah Jazz).
Kidd's team reached the Australian NBL Semifinals in 2020. He was voted to All-MWC Honorable Mention during his college years in 2015.
He graduated from Colorado State in 2015 and it will be his tenth season in pro basketball. Kidd played for other colleges such as North Carolina Central University and South Plains College.
