Brave Thunders hire coach Ronen Ginzburg

Kawasaki Brave Thunders (B1 League) have signed the experienced 61-year-old Israeli coach Ronen Ginzburg (agency: Stanislav Ryzhov) for the upcoming 2024-25 season. Ginzburg has been coaching for the past three years at Prometey in the Ukrainian league.
He coached Israel at the FIBA EuroBasket two years ago.
Ginzburg has coached professionally in Israel (Ramat Hasharon) and Czech Republic (Nymburk). His team was the regular season runner-up in the Latvian-Estonian Basketball League in 2024.
Among many awards, he was voted Eurobasket.com All-Latvian-Estonian Basketball League Coach of the Year in 2023.
