The best player for the winners was American power forward Scott Eatherton (208-1991, college: Northeastern) who scored 18 points and 7 rebounds. American-Filipino guard Ray Parks (193-1993, agency: Slash Sports) chipped in 14 points and 5 rebounds. American forward Dwayne Evans (201-1992, college: St.Louis, agency: Pensack Sports) produced 25 points, 9 rebounds and 6 assists and Ryo Yamazaki (183-1992) added 16 points respectively for the guests. Both teams had four players each who scored in double figures. Both coaches used bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games.

Golden Kings made 17-of-19 charity shots (89.5 percent) during the game. Golden Kings outrebounded Jets 43-31 including 28 on the defensive glass. American power forward Jack Cooley (206-1991, college: Notre Dame, agency: Pensack Sports) orchestrated the victory with a double-double by scoring 25 points and 12 rebounds. The other American import power forward Allen Durham (198-1988, college: Grace Christian) contributed with a double-double by scoring 10 points, 16 rebounds and 7 assists for the winners. Durham is a former Eurobasket Summer League player, which is considered top international summer league in the market. American guard Christopher Smith (193-1994, college: Utah St.) replied with 19 points and Australian forward Xavier Cooks (203-1995, college: Winthrop) added 8 points, 7 rebounds and 6 assists in the effort for Jets. Both coaches tested many bench players and allowed the starting five to rest.
