Xavier Cooks

Chiba Jets (B1 League) agreed terms with 28-year old Australian international forward Xavier Cooks (203cm-84kg-1995, college: Winthrop). He already started the season at Washington Wizards in the NBA. He also played for another NBA team the Wizards in NBA. The other team he played shortly were another NBA team the Wizards in NBA.
He also represented Australia at the World University Games in Taipei (Taiwan) six years ago. His stats at that event were 8 games: 12.9ppg, 8.1rpg, 2.8apg, 1.3spg, Blocks-1(2.4bpg), FGP: 60.0%, 3PT: 27.3%, FT: 73.3%.
He is quite experienced player. He has played in five different countries on three different continents (Europe, Australia and of course North America). He has played previously professionally in France (SIG Strasbourg), Germany (s Oliver Baskets), New Zealand (Rams and Saints), Australia (Kings) and NBA Summer League (Phoenix Suns).
The list of the past achievements is quite long as among others he was voted All-Big South Conf. Player of the Year back in 2018.
He graduated from Winthrop University in 2018 and it is his sixth season as a professional player.
