Henry Ellenson (ex Joventut) signs at Cyberdyne Ibaraki Robots

Cyberdyne Ibaraki Robots (B1 League) landed 26-year old American ex-international 208cm center Henry Ellenson (college: Marquette) for new season. He played most recently at Joventut in Spanish Liga Endesa. In 35 games he averaged 9.7ppg and 4.6rpg last season. He helped them to make it to the semifinals. Ellenson also played 20 games in Eurocup where he had 9.7ppg and 3.8rpg.
The previous (2021-22) season he played at Obradoiro (Liga Endesa). In 32 games he recorded 11.0ppg and 4.9rpg in that year.
In 2016 he was drafted by Detroit Pistons (NBA) in first round (18th overall). The former Marquette University star is in his eighth season in pro basketball.
He also represented USA at the World Championships U17 in Dubai (UAE) nine years ago. Ellenson's team won Gold and his stats at that event were 7 games: 8.7ppg, 5.1rpg, FGP: 66.7%, FT: 64.3%.
Ellenson has played previously professionally in NBA (Brooklyn Nets and NY Knicks) and NBA G League (Grand Rapids Gold, Raptors 905 Missisauga and Long Island Nets).
