American Brekkott Chapman (206-F/C-1996) put on an extraordinary performance in the last round for league's second-best Koshigaya A. and that's him to receive a Hoops Agents B2 League Player of the Week award for round 48.
The 26-year old power forward had the game-high 30 points adding nine rebounds and two assists for Koshigaya A. in his team's victory, helping them to outclass Aomori W. (#5, 23-27) with 43-point margin 96-53. Koshigaya A. maintains the 2nd position in their group in Japanese B2 League. They would have been even better if they hadn't lost a few games earlier this season. Koshigaya A. will need more victories to improve their 37-13 record. In the team's last game Chapman had a remarkable 85.7% from 2-point range and got five three-pointers out of 9 attempts. He turned to be Koshigaya A.'s top player in his first season with the team. Brekkott Chapman averages this season 15.1ppg and 7.3rpg.

The second most remarkable performance in last round's games was young American power forward Brandon Ashley (206-PF-1994) of league's best team Chiba. Ashley impressed basketball fans with a double-double of 22 points and 17 rebounds. Of course Chiba cruised to a 92-82 relatively comfortable win over the lower-ranked Bambitious N. (#6, 14-36). Of course Chiba still keep West's top spot. His team has currently 39-11 record. Ashley is a newcomer at Chiba and it seems he did not have too much trouble to become one of team's leaders. He belongs to the best scorers in the league with 18.4ppg (#7). He also registered 8.1 boards per game.

The third best performed player last round was American Eugene Phelps (198-F-1990) of Ehime OV (#4). Phelps scored 23 points and grabbed thirteen rebounds (!!!). He was a key player of Ehime OV, leading his team to a 82-66 easy win against slightly lower-ranked Fukuoka R. (#5, 16-34). The chances of Ehime OV ranking at the top of West, however are very questionable as they have already lost 27 games, recording just twenty three victories. With bigger assistance of his teammates, Phelps could help Ehime OV to bring them higher in the standings. Phelps has a great season in Japan. After 45 games, he made it on the list of the league's leaders in rebounds with 12.4rpg (2nd best).

The efficiency formula is a combination of various formulas used by different basketball organizations/leagues. We got involved many basketball scouts and journalists to assure it's accuracy.
The formula: 1.5*PTS + 3* (REB+AST+ST+BL-TO) - 2*BSAG - 4*PF + 3*PFRV + 4* (2FGPM+3FGPM) + 1.5*FTM - 3* (2FGPA-2FGPM) - 3* (3FGPA-3FGPM) - (FTA-FTM)
