Fukuoka Rizing lands Stephen Zimmerman

Fukuoka-Rizing (B2 League) tabbed 26-year old American international 211cm center Stephen Zimmerman (college: UNLV). Zimmerman started the season at Austin Spurs (NBA G League) in the U.S. In only one game he had 8 points, 9 rebounds, 3 assists and 1 block.
In 2016 he was drafted by Orlando Magic (NBA) in second round (41st overall). He attended University of Nevada - Las Vegas and it is his seventh season in pro basketball.
Zimmerman has been a member of USA international program for some years. He has been regularly called to USA senior team since 2019 and previously for U18 National Team back in 2014.
Zimmerman is a very experienced player. And here thanks to pro basketball he experienced life in six different countries playing on three different continents. He is familiar with European, Australian and of course North American leagues. Zimmerman has played previously professionally in Australia (Cairns Taipans), Germany (Telekom Baskets), Poland (Twarde Pierniki), NBA (LA Lakers), Czech Republic (Nymburk) and NBA G League (South Bay Lakers, College Park SkyHawks, Westchester Knicks and Capital City Go-Go).
Among many awards he won Czech Republic League championship title in 2021. He was voted to Eurobasket.com Czech Republic League All-Imports Team in 2021.
