Watkins is back at Saitama

Saitama Broncos (B3 League) agreed terms with 31-year old American power forward Ryan Watkins (206cm-104kg-1991, college: Boise State, agency: Slash Sports) for upcoming 2022-23 season. It is actually his comeback to Saitama as he has played here before. Watkins played last season at Once A Bronco (The Basketball Tournament) in the U.S.
He is quite experienced player. Watkins has played in six different countries on three different continents (Europe, Asia and of course North America). He has played previously professionally in China (Macau), Finland (Seagulls), Holland (Leeuwarden), Hungary (Sopron KC, Atomeromu and Szedeak), Taiwan (Dreamers) and Thailand (Mono Vampire). Watkins was also voted to Asia-Basket.com All-Japanese B League D3 Honorable Mention in 2022.
His team made it to the Hungarian League Semifinals in 2016.
He graduated from Boise State in 2014 and it will be his ninth season as a professional player.
