International Power forward Ramu Tokashiki (193-F/C-1991) had an amazing evening in the last round for Eneos S., receiving a Hoops Agents Player of the Week award for round 26.
The 30-year old player had a double-double of 12 points and 14 rebounds, while her team beat Denso I. (#3, 18-3) 81-72. The game was between two of the league's top four teams. Eneos S. maintains the 4th position in Japanese WJBL. They would have been even better if they hadn't lost a few games earlier this season. Eneos S. will need more victories to improve their 16-5 record. In the team's last game Tokashiki had a remarkable 66.7% from 2-point range. She has many years of experience at Eneos S., through which she has constantly improved. Ramu Tokashiki has solid league stats. She is in league's top in points (2nd best: 18.8ppg) and averages impressive 1.3bpg and 75.0% FGP.

The second best player in last round's games was young international center Rika Tanimura (185-C-1993) of Hitachi Cougars. Tanimura had a very good evening with a double-double of 21 points and 12 rebounds. Of course she led Hitachi Cougars to another comfortable win outscoring the lower-ranked Yamanashi QB (#12, 5-15) 92-57. Hitachi Cougars' 8th position in the standings has not changed. Her team is not often considered as one of the league's best with a mere 9-13 record. Tanimura is one of the most experienced players at Hitachi Cougars and has a reputation of one of team's most reliable players. She belongs to the best scorers in the league with 17.3ppg (#3). She also registered 8.4 boards per game.

Third on the list of top players last round was international center Stephanie Mawuli (182-C-1998) of league's second-best Toyota A.. Mawuli scored 15 points and grabbed eleven rebounds (!!!). She was a key player of Toyota A., leading her team to a 96-50 easy win against the lower-ranked Mitsubishi K. (#6, 12-8). Many experts and fans count Toyota A. as a contender for championship title. Another victory and another confirmation that they may be right. Just look at their record: 18 victories and only two lost games. Mawuli has a great season in Japan. After 20 games, she made it on the list of the league's leaders in points with 14.1ppg (7th best) and rebounds with 7.0rpg (8th best). She also has 2.0bpg and FGP: 57.7%.
