Here is the last round review presented by Job Market.

Third ranked Chiba (26-4) crushed at home 9th ranked Tokyo HT (17-15) by 34 points 99-65, which is the biggest margin this round on Sunday night. Chiba outrebounded Tokyo HT 41-30 including a 36-20 advantage in defensive rebounds. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 34 assists comparing to just 12 passes made by Tokyo HT's players. American forward Kevin Kotzur (203-1989, college: St.Mary's, TX) stepped up with a double-double by scoring 24 points and 17 rebounds (on 10-of-12 shooting from the field) for the winners and his fellow American import power forward Evan Ravenel (204-1989, college: Ohio St.) chipped in 19 points and 6 assists. Senegalese forward Bamba Diouf (198-1993) responded with 20 points and 7 rebounds. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games. Chiba have an impressive series of five victories in a row. They moved-up to second place. Tokyo HT at the other side keeps the ninth position with 15 games lost. Chiba are looking forward to face Saitama (#8) on the road in the next round which should be theoretically another easy game. Shizuoka - Shinagawa 103-70

Very predictable result when fifth ranked Shizuoka (21-9) smashed at home 14th ranked Shinagawa (3-31) 103-70 on Sunday. Shizuoka dominated down low during the game scoring 64 of its points in the paint compared to Shinagawa's 32. They outrebounded Shinagawa 41-27 including a 35-18 advantage in defensive rebounds. Shizuoka looked well-organized offensively handing out 33 assists comparing to just 16 passes made by Shinagawa's players. Great defensive blocking was one of the keys in this match when Shizuoka made 8 blocks. American center Ryan Stephan (208-1994, college: CMU) stepped up with a double-double by scoring 20 points, 12 rebounds and 5 assists for the winners and Beninese power forward Muusa Dama (207-1996, college: EIU, agency: Blacktop Management) chipped in 19 points, 10 rebounds and 4 blocks. Five Shizuoka players scored in double figures. American center C.J. Gettys (213-1994, college: Rutgers, agency: Haylett Sports) responded with 17 points, 6 rebounds and 5 assists and forward Abu Philip (198-1997) scored 12 points and 8 rebounds. Since the result was very predictable, it gave the chance for the coaches to test many bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. The victory was the third consecutive win for Shizuoka. They maintain fifth place with 21-9 record. Newly promoted Shinagawa keeps the fourteenth position with 31 games lost. Both teams do not play next round, which will be an opportunity for some rest.
