Very predictable result when fifth ranked Shizuoka (21-9) smashed at home 14th ranked Shinagawa (3-31) 103-70 on Sunday. Shizuoka dominated down low during the game scoring 64 of its points in the paint compared to Shinagawa's 32. They outrebounded Shinagawa 41-27 including a 35-18 advantage in defensive rebounds. Shizuoka looked well-organized offensively handing out 33 assists comparing to just 16 passes made by Shinagawa's players. Great defensive blocking was one of the keys in this match when Shizuoka made 8 blocks. American center Ryan Stephan (208-1994, college: CMU) stepped up with a double-double by scoring 20 points, 12 rebounds and 5 assists for the winners and Beninese power forward Muusa Dama (207-1996, college: EIU, agency: Blacktop Management) chipped in 19 points, 10 rebounds and 4 blocks.
