32-year old center Isaac Butts (208-C-1989) had an amazing evening in the last round for Koshigaya A. and receives a Hoops Agents B2 League Player of the Week award for round 41.
He had a double-double of 27 points and 23 rebounds, while his team edged out Kumamoto V. (#3, 21-14) 83-81. Koshigaya A. maintains the 4th position in their group in Japanese B2 League. They would have been even better if they hadn't lost a few games earlier this season. Koshigaya A. will need more victories to improve their 19-14 record. Butts has many years of experience at Koshigaya A., through which he has constantly improved. Appalachian State University graduate has very impressive stats this year. Butts is in league's top in rebounds (2nd best: 14.0rpg) and averages solid 72.6% FGP.

Second best performed player last round was Jason Washburn (213-C-1990, agency: Pensack Sports) of league's second-best Fukushima. He is American-Bulgarian center in his first (recently joined) season at Fukushima. In the last game Washburn recorded impressive 20 points, 9 rebounds and 2 assists. Of course he led Fukushima to another comfortable win outscoring the lower-ranked Yamagata (#5, 15-21) 93-69. Fukushima's second position in East has not changed. His team's 27-11 record is not bad at all. Washburn is one of the most experienced players at Fukushima and has a reputation of one of team's most reliable players. He belongs to the best scorers in the league with 19.1ppg (#9). He also registered 9.0 boards per game.

Third place about best performers goes to forward Jordan Hamilton (201-F-1990) of Kumamoto V. (#3). Hamilton showcased his all-around game by recording 24 points, nine rebounds and twelve assists (!!!) in the last round. Despite Hamilton's great performance Kumamoto V. lost 81-83 to #4 ranked Koshigaya A.. But his team cannot count on just a single player as he also needs help of the other teammates especially in such crucial game. The last thing Kumamoto V. needs is to lose another game like this one. They lose more and more distance to the top teams in West. Their record is 21 victories and 14 lost games. Hamilton has a great season in Japan. After 26 games, he made it on the list of the league's leaders in points with 23.0ppg (2nd best) and assists with 5.6apg (3rd best).
