Sendai 89ers sign Devin Oliver, ex Buyukcekmece

Sendai 89ers (B2 League) signed 28-year old American power forward Devin Oliver (204cm-102kg-92, college: Dayton) for upcoming 2021-22 season. Oliver joins another USA player Justin Burrell who is already in the roster.
He played last season at Demir Insaat Buyukcekmece Basket in Turkish BSL league. In 26 games he had 12.7ppg, 7.0rpg, 2.5apg and 1.1spg.
The previous (2020) summer he played at Red Scare in U.S. semi-pro league Dayton Alumni.
He has tried to make it to the NBA and played in the NBA Pro Summer League in 2014.
Oliver is quite experienced player. He has played also professionally in Belgium (Limburg United), France (JSF Nanterre and SPO Rouen), Germany (s Oliver Baskets), Israel (Maccabi Kiryat Gat), Slovenia (Petrol Olimpija Ljubljana) and The Basketball Tournament (Broad Street B.).
The list of the past achievements is quite long as among others he was voted to Eurobasket.com Adriatic League All-Imports Team back in 2018.
He attended University of Dayton until 2014 and it will be his eighth season as a professional player.
