Shinshu Brave Warriors Nagano (B1 League) re-signed 25-year old American 208cm forward Josh Hawkinson, college: WSU, agency: Wasserman for new season. Hawkinson is the second foreigner player in the roster as South Korean Jae-Min Yang signed here earlier.
He was a team leader there last season. In 47 B1 League games he averaged impressive 16.4ppg, 8.4rpg and 2.2apg. He can count that season as a very successful as was voted to Asia-Basket.com All-Japanese B League Honorable Mention and League Player of the Week (2 times).
The previous (19-20) season he played at FE Nagoya (B2 League) where in 47 games he had very remarkable stats: 20.6ppg, 10.3rpg, 3.1apg and 1.0bpg. Good season as he was also here selected League Player of the Week (3 times).
Hawkinson graduated from Washington State University in 2017 and it is his fifth season in pro basketball.
