Shizuoka tabs Novar Gadson, ex Defensor

Shizuoka Veltex (B3 League) inked 31-year old American forward Novar Gadson (201-99kg-89, college: Rider). He started the season at Defensor in Uruguayan LUB league. The last summer Gadson played at Brotherly Love in U.S. semi-pro league The Basketball Tournament.
Gadson is a very experienced player. He has quite traveled the world as his pro career brought him to seven different countries on three different continents (Europe, Latin America and of course North America). Gadson has played previously professionally in Argentina (Argentino, Quimsa and Comunicaciones), Belgium (Spirou Charleroi), Hungary (Kaposvari), Italy (Treviglio), Lebanon, Lithuania (Nevezis) and The Basketball Tournament (Talladega Knights and Rebel Riders).
His team made it to the Argentinian LaLiga Torneo Super 20 Semifinals in 2018.
He attended Rider University until 2012 and it is his ninth season in pro basketball.
