23-year old forward Nick Mayo (206-F-97, agency: Pensack Sports) had a very impressive game in the last round for Hokkaido L. and receives a Interperformances Player of the Week award for round 15.
He had the game-high 37 points adding six rebounds and three assists for Hokkaido L. in his team's victory, helping them to beat Niigata A. (#8, 6-10) 82-76. Hokkaido L. is placed at 9th position in Japanese league. Too late to salvage the team, which is currently ranked such low. They already lost 11 games and recorded just four victories. In the team's last game Mayo had a remarkable 52.9% from 2-point range. He turned to be Hokkaido L.'s top player in his first season with the team. Eastern Kentucky University graduate has very impressive stats this year. Mayo is in league's top in points (3rd best: 23.1ppg) and averages solid 60.3% FGP.

Second best performed player last round was Jamari Traylor (203-C/F-92) of Hiroshima D.. He is American in his 3rd season at Hiroshima D.. In the last game Traylor recorded impressive double-double of 30 points and 11 rebounds. Bad luck as Hiroshima D. lost that game 71-85 to the higher-ranked Tochigi B. (#1, 14-1). Hiroshima D. managed to keep the same 8th spot in East. 11 lost games are too many comparing to just four victories Hiroshima D. managed to get this year. Traylor is one of the most experienced players at Hiroshima D. and has a reputation of one of team's most reliable players.

Third place about best performers goes to forward Sebastian Saiz (205-F-94) of league's second-best Chiba J.. Saiz showcased his all-around game by recording 22 points, eleven rebounds (!!!) and four assists in the last round. He was a key player of Chiba J., leading his team to a 102-58 easy win against the lower-ranked Akita NH (#7, 8-7). Chiba J. is closer and closer to top of the standings in East. They will still need more victories. But 12-3 record is not that bad... Saiz has a great season in Japan. After 15 games, he made it on the list of the league's leaders in rebounds with 10.7rpg (4th best). He also has 1.2bpg and FGP: 61.4%.
