FE Nagoya lands Chris Otule

Toyotsu Fighting Eagles Nagoya (B2 League) tabbed 30-year old American (has also Nigerian passport) center Chris Otule (211-125kg-90, college: Marquette, agency: Octagon Europe). He started the season at SeaHorses Mikawa (B1 League). In 13 games he averaged 10.2ppg and 7.1rpg this season. B2 League will be definitely a better match and he can see more playing time. The last summer Otule played at Guizhou Guwutang Tea (NBL) in Chinese league where in 24 games he had very impressive stats: 20.4ppg and 14.9rpg. He can count that season as a very successful as was selected to Asia-Basket.com All-Chinese NBL Honorable Mention.
He is a very experienced player. And here thanks to pro basketball Otule experienced life in four different countries playing on three different continents. He is familiar with European, Asian and of course North American leagues. Otule has played previously professionally in France (Olympique Antibes, Gravelines Dunkerque and SIG Strasbourg), Germany (Mitteldeutscher BC and Crailsheim Merlins), Turkey (Mersin Buyuksehir Belediyesi) and China (Henan).
He attended Marquette University until 2014 and it is his sixth season in pro basketball.
