American Forward Chehales Tapscott (195-F-90) had a very impressive game in the last round for Ehime OV, receiving a Interperformances B2 League Player of the Week award for round 20.
The 29-year old player recorded a triple-double of 40 points adding also 11 rebounds and 11 assists, while his team outclassed Yamagata (#6, 4-17) with 28-point margin 100-72. Ehime OV maintains the 4th position in their group in Japanese B2 League. Ehime OV is a typical solid league team placed somewhere in the middle or a little bit lower in the standings. They need more victories to improve their 10-11 record. In the team's last game Tapscott had a remarkable 75.0% from 2-point range. He turned to be Ehime OV's top player in his first season with the team. Former Portland State University star has very solid stats this year. Tapscott is in league's top in points (2nd best: 27.4ppg), assists (7th best: 5.2apg) and averages impressive 52.8% FGP.

The second best player in last round's games was 29-year old American Andrew Fitzgerald (202-C/F-90) of Bambitious N.. Fitzgerald had a very good evening with a double-double of 40 points and 18 rebounds. Of course he led Bambitious N. to another comfortable win 95-77 over the higher-ranked Gunma (#2, 13-6) being unquestionably team leader. Bambitious N.'s 5th position in East has not changed. His team is not often considered as one of the league's best with a mere 7-13 record. Fitzgerald is a newcomer at Bambitious N., but is already one of team's top players. He belongs to the best scorers in the league with 25.5ppg (#5). He also registered 10.9 boards per game.

Third on the list of top players last round was American center Wayne Marshall (211-C-86) of league's second-best Shinshu BW. Marshall scored 27 points and grabbed ten rebounds. Despite Marshall's great performance Shinshu BW lost 80-82 to #3 ranked Kumamoto V.. But his team cannot count on just a single shooter as he also needs help of the other teammates especially in such crucial game. The last thing Shinshu BW needs is to lose another game like this one. They lose more and more distance to the top teams in West. Their record is 14 victories and 4 lost games. Marshall has a very solid season. In 16 games in Japan he scored 20.1ppg. He also has 9.5rpg, 3.1apg, 2.2bpg and FGP: 60.4%.
