Ghaz Al-Shamal adds Waithe to their roster, ex CPN

Deangelique Waithe

Ghaz Al-Shamal (1 League) added to their roster American forward Deangelique Waithe (183cm, college: LIU Brooklyn). She was top rebounder at CP Natacao in Portuguese Liga Feminina last season where in 7 games she recorded 11.7ppg, 11.0rpg, 1.3spg and 1.1bpg.
She is quite experienced player. Thanks to Waithe's pro career she managed to play on three different continents (Europe, Africa and of course North America) in four different countries. Waithe has played previously professionally in Spain (Aviles), United Kingdom (Rebels) and Egypt (El Ward).
Her team made it to the NEC Tournament Semifinals in 2018.
She attended Long Island University until 2018 and it will be her seventh season as a professional player.
