Aida Bakhos (ex Al Ahli) joins Akkad

Aida Bakhos

Akkad Ankawa (1 League) added to their roster experienced 37-year old Lebanese international forward Aida Bakhos (178cm-1986, college: Lamar) for new 2023-24 season. Bakhos played last season at Al Ahli in Saudi Arabian D1 league. She also played for Club Beirut in Lebanese league. Bakhos helped them to win the Lebanese League title.
She also represented Lebanon at the FIBA Asia Cup Division B in India six years ago. Bakhos' team won Bronze and her stats at that event were 6 games: 6.7ppg, 4.7rpg, 1.3apg, FGP: 29.3%, 3PT: 25.0%, FT: 65.0%.
Bakhos has played previously professionally in Germany (Rheinland) and Lebanon (Homentmen Antelias and Al Riyadi).
The list of the past achievements is quite long as among others she was voted to Eurobasket.com Mediterranean Cup All-Defensive Team back in 2018.
It's very possible she may end her playing career at Akkad.
She graduated from Lamar University in 2008 and it will be her 16th (!!!) season as a professional player.
