An exciting game between Top Four teams was played in Changsha. First ranked HK JinNiu faced 4th placed Hunan. Guests from Hong Kong (23-3) defeated host Hunan (14-12) 78-69. HK JinNiu dominated down low during the game scoring 42 of its points in the paint compared to Hunan's 20. The best player for the winners was Nigerian-American swingman EJ Anosike (199-1998, college: CS Fullerton) who had a double-double by scoring 19 points and 10 rebounds. American guard Mason Jones (193-1998, college: Arkansas) chipped in 16 points. American Stanton Kidd (202-1992, college: Colorado St., agency: JCK Sports Group) produced 17 points for the hosts. Both coaches used bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. HK JinNiu have an impressive series of seven victories in a row. They maintain first place with 23-3 record. Hunan lost third consecutive game. They keep the fourth position with 12 games lost. They share it with 3 other teams.
Bottom-ranked Zhangjiakou (0-26) tried to put together a comeback for its first victory of the season, but they fell short in the 98-76 loss to eighth ranked Jiaozuo (13-13) in Zhangjiakou. American-Thailand guard Tra Holder (185-1995, college: Arizona St.) orchestrated the victory by scoring 34 points (!!!) and 6 assists. Lin Chang contributed with 13 points and 10 rebounds for the winners. DR Congolese center Viny Okouo (214-1997) answered with a double-double by scoring 28 points and 17 rebounds for Zhangjiakou. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games. Jiaozuo maintains eighth place with 13-13 record, which they share with Jiangsu. Zhangjiakou lost their twenty sixth game in a row. They still close the standings.
The game in Shandong was also quite interesting. Second ranked Hefei (21-5) played at the court of 5th ranked Shandong (14-12). Hefei defeated Shandong 97-85 on Saturday. It ended at the same time the three-game winning streak of Shandong. Dimitrios Agravanis stepped up and scored 16 points, 9 rebounds and 4 assists for the winners. Loren Jackson responded with 31 points and 4 assists (was perfect 7-for-7 from the free throw line). Both coaches tested many bench players and allowed the starting five to rest. Hefei maintains second place with 21-5 record having just two points less than leader HK JinNiu. Shandong at the other side dropped to the fourth position with 12 games lost. They share it with 3 other teams.

Other games of round 29 were quite predictable and ended without any surprises. Here they are:
Hebei defeated Hubei in a road game 105-97. Jiangsu smashed Anhui W. at home 119-98. Shanghai won against Hangzhou on the opponent's court 79-72. Guizhou was outscored by Jiangxi in a home game 79-99.

Hubei - Hebei 97-105

There was no surprise when 12th ranked Hubei (9-17) was defeated at home by seventh ranked Hebei (14-12) 105-97 on Saturday. Hebei looked well-organized offensively handing out 23 assists. Ukrainian center Vladyslav Koreniuk (210-1994, agency: BIG) stepped up and scored 26 points and 8 rebounds (on 13-of-17 shooting from the field) for the winners and American point guard Jaylen Adams (188-1996, college: St.Bonaventure) chipped in 19 points and 8 assists. American center Baylee Steele (213-1997, college: Duquesne, agency: Octagon Europe) responded with a double-double by scoring 33 points (!!!) and 11 rebounds (was perfect 8-for-8 from the free throw line) and forward Shiwei Xue (204) scored 6 points and 14 rebounds. Five Hebei and four Hubei players scored in double figures. Hubei's coach rotated ten players in this game, but that didn't help. Hebei moved-up to fourth place, which they share with 3 other teams. Hubei at the other side keeps the twelfth position with 17 games lost.

Jiangsu dominated down low during the game scoring 76 of its points in the paint compared to Anhui W.'s 54. Jiangsu forced 19 Anhui W. turnovers. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 26 assists comparing to just 11 passes made by Anhui W.'s players.
