Very expected game when 10th rankedHangzhou (12-14) was defeated at home by third ranked Shanghai (16-10) 79-72 on Saturday. Shanghai dominated down low during the game scoring 54 of its points in the paint compared to Hangzhou 's 34. American guard Marcus LoVett Jr (183-1996, college: St.John's, agency: Octagon Europe) stepped up and scored 30 points for the winners and his fellow American import forward Shemar Wilson (206-2001, college: UT Arlington) chipped in 21 points and 10 rebounds. American center Trevor Thompson (210-1994, college: Ohio St., agency: Octagon Europe) responded with a double-double by scoring 22 points and 16 rebounds and American-Puerto Rican point guard Jordan Howard (180-1996, college: Cent Arkansas) scored 25 points. Both coaches tested many bench players and allowed the starting five to rest. Shanghai maintains third place with 16-10 record having seven points less than leader HK JinNiu. Hangzhou at the other side keeps the tenth position with 14 games lost.
