Bottom-rankedZhangjiakou (0-26) tried to put together a comeback for its first victory of the season, but they fell short in the 98-76 loss to eighth ranked Jiaozuo (13-13) in Zhangjiakou. American-Thailand guard Tra Holder (185-1995, college: Arizona St.) orchestrated the victory by scoring 34 points (!!!) and 6 assists. The former international forward Lin Chang (206-1988, college: LBSU) contributed with a double-double by scoring 13 points and 10 rebounds for the winners. Five Jiaozuo players scored in double figures. DR Congolese center Viny Okouo (214-1997) answered with a double-double by scoring 28 points and 17 rebounds and guard Junjie Li (183-2005) added 11 points and 9 assists in the effort for Zhangjiakou. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games. Jiaozuo maintains eighth place with 13-13 record, which they share with Jiangsu. Zhangjiakou lost their twenty sixth game in a row. They still close the standings.
