An exciting game between Top Four teams was played in Changsha. First ranked HK JinNiu faced 4th placed Hunan. Guests from Hong Kong (23-3) defeated host Hunan (14-12) 78-69. HK JinNiu dominated down low during the game scoring 42 of its points in the paint compared to Hunan's 20. The best player for the winners was Nigerian-American swingman EJ Anosike (199-1998, college: CS Fullerton) who had a double-double by scoring 19 points and 10 rebounds. The game in Shandong was also quite interesting. Second ranked Hefei (21-5) played at the court of 5th ranked Shandong (14-12). Hefei defeated Shandong 97-85 on Saturday. It ended at the same time the three-game winning streak of Shandong. Dimitrios Agravanis stepped up and scored 16 points, 9 rebounds and 4 assists for the winners. Loren Jackson responded with 31 points and 4 assists (was perfect 7-for-7 from the free throw line). Both coaches tested many bench players and allowed the starting five to rest.
